The old Teresina is sitting on the bank of Pasqualino with her granddaughter at her side.

He always remembers when his grandfather Giovanni's oven was at Hermes' house. Indeed there were three of ovens.

Among these there was also that of Ermanno ... There were two butchers ... There was also Maina's haberdashery! Granddaughter listens spellbound as if she were telling a fairy tale but it is only the echo of the past!
