A break in the noon heat

Here we find Paulina del Capon with Emanuele, sitting to catch their breath in the hot afternoon. Paulina was an energetic woman, with a prompt and decisive word, one of those who when they have to say something frankly blunt it.

Here we remember her while she is chatting with Emanuele, who lived in Turin for work and who is now back to live in Maranzana, where he is from.

Emanuele was a good cook and was often called into homes to prepare wedding dinners or for special occasions. He also invited friends to his home for the pleasure of sharing friendship and great food. The children around them shout and jump: "Go to the playground!". Paulina grumbles.
